WORK WITH OTHER PEOPLE IN A BUSINESS ENVIRONMENT
1.2 The Distribution Centre's main mission and purpose is to ensure a speedy and efficient logistics service for our retail stores and customers.
1.3 Organisation is very well equipped with the newest operating systems and softtware. In addition, I can say that company is managed to a high standard with visible progress in the last few years.
1.4 I am working as a Administrator, as a part of a team of several people. I am dealing with a wide range of general administration duties. The main target of our department is to help the organisation save money and avoid stock issues: internally - DC, and externally - stores and customers. We are trying to achieve it through a range of duties, such as: stock audit and cycle counting, producing accuracy reports and analyzing data or dealing with stores and customers issues.
1.5 Policies, procedures, systems and values of the organisation relevant to my role are: personal and company data protection - as I am dealing with either, health an safety, follow the standard operation procedures, work as a team, be helpful and 'go the extra mile'. Follow all of these is the basis of a good practice of my position.
1.6 In some cases it is appropriate to seek guidance from others if unsure about any of above. It may be i.e. : when not sure if I can provide some data to internal or external people, or not sure if the procedure I need to follow to resolve a customer problem is the righ way to do so. In such cases you need to speak to relevant person in the organisation to clarify your doubt.
2.1 There is many purposes and benefits of working with other people. You can encourage one another. You can develop a bond, cultivate a friendship.
