What I Know About the Internet
I know quite a bit about the internet. I have been using the Internet since 1997.
The internet can be an amazing learning experience, good and bad. It is an endless opeprtunity to learn and expand your knowledge, vocabulary and life.
The Internet can allow you to keep in contact with friends and family, find long lost relatives or Highschool buddies. It can also help you make new best friends.
You can travel around the world without having to pay traveling expenses or leaving your home. You can shop at your convienience which is extremely delighful for the elderly and disabled who are unable to get out during the days of bad weather.
You can even check your bank statements, make online payments, take online classes, check emails, apply for jobs, post your Resume`s online, or even shop for a new car.
The internet is great because you can save so much gas by doing most of these things online.
There is a downside to the internet too.
There are social "Trolls" who lurk in chatroms and on blogs. A Troll is a person who says mean and crude things to discourage others.
There are people creating new virus' everyday, hackers, crackers, and hijackers lurking to get someones information.
So to conclude what I know about the Internet is:
The Internet is a big help and very convienent to many people but you can never be too safe. You never give out personal information to strangers, and secure yourself with a good quality virus protector. I suggest AVG and Malwarebytes.
