The power of different viewpoints

It is very well known that there are so many different ideas to every issue in this world, it depends on the culture of the place where you live, the way you are educated, the way you think, the experiences you have lived; without this diversity of viewpoints the world would be the same, every unique contribution or idea enables us to change the world, to create, to innovate, to be prepare for the future by creating it. However not everyone has the same opinion.   For some people this is great but for others not, it depends on the topic.

“It is just that we should be grateful, not only to those with whose views we may agree, but also to those who have expressed more superficial views; for these also contributed something, by developing before us the powers of thought” (Aristotle).

There are viewpoints that are always going to vary in some way, these ones are the confusing patterns of left and right.   “These are polar ideas about how governments should best govern in order to assure the survival and prosperity of their nations; they are based on different clusters of political, social, economic, and religious values” (Mayfield, 2010).

In this essay two totally different viewpoints are going to be analyzed: left progressive with Mother Jones (MoJo) magazine and Christian conservatism with World magazine, this analysis is going to be based on different articles found in these two magazines of the same subject: Abortion, a word that all of us have heard at least once and we might be tired of listen, but a word that everyone will understand and on which everyone has an opinion: to agree or disagree.
