Everyone in life has a role model, as a child and throughout my years my uncle
Jim has been my role model. My uncle Jim was a successful NFL football player. He won 2 super bowls and was voted to the pro bowl twice in his career.
You could say football runs in m family, my cousin Mike was a semi-pro football player and my uncles son was in Major league baseball. Football means a lot to me and my family, as a child i started playing football when i was 4 years old. Ive played every year since then. Football is my sport of choice but i was also involved in many other sports, I played baseball for 6 years, soccer for 4, rugby for 3, wrestling for 4 and finally football for 13 years. For most children summer was a time to play and have fun, but for me in my later years in football i began to train and get bigger. i competed in power lifting for a whole summer in order to prepare for senior year. i eventually bulked up to 250 lbs. Since then i have shed the pounds and leaned up. I am now training for an ammeter powerlifting competition. i hoping to squat 600lbs on my final day. i am currently at 530 lbs. Its takes a lot of preparation and focus to get to where you want to be. Everyone has there own hobby or sport, but m hobby is weight lifting. it is a huge stress reliever and clears your mind. Along with those positives there are many more. The physical appearance is beneficial and also health and well being.
Since weight lifting is my hobby my real goal in life is to become an officer in law enforcement. State trooper or border patrol are two ideal jobs that i would like to include in my life. As you know i am currently studying criminal justice at ECC, i hope to learn as much as possible from these courses. There are many great memories in life in which i have created through football and sports, i hope to make many more memories and goals in my future.
