Remember the Titans Film Review Essay
In the movie Remember the Titans there were many racial essentials to the plot.   It’s an inspiring football film, while it’s loaded with expected elements; it also has remarkable strengths, benefiting from strong presentations by the leads. The story is based on actual events that happened in 1971, this is about racial conflicts in South America.
This is the setting for the movie Remember the Titans, starring Denzel Washington who portrays Herman Boone the head coach of the Titans. Herman Boone is the Virginia high school football coach, as is Bill Yoast (Will Patton). During the crucial period of racial incorporation at the beginning of the 1970's, when Herman Boone is appointed head coach rather than coach Yoast for the Titans football team there are complications and difficulties between the two coaches, the team players and the rest of the community.  
Coach Boone won't take any racial assortment. Boone treats all of his players equally, If the player doesn't know anything about the person of the opposite color that they are rooming with, they have homework to get to know one another. With this, it creates a special bond between these men. Men who act more mature and humane, unlike most of the residents of Alexandria, But when Coach Boone and Coach Yoast prove that the Titans are a winning team, the issue of race is erased and the true meaning of teamwork is born.
My favorite scene in the movie is when Julius and Gerry came together, because in the beginning of the story they would not acknowledge one another, they were like enemies. But in the end they developed an amazing friendship built on trust and respect. They learnt to appreciate the meaning of trusting a man’s soul rather than their color. This movie in my opinion is definitely one to remember because it teaches about the consequences of racial discrimination; there is no difference whether your black or white you're still human.
