What are your unique talents, interests, and/or accomplishments?
* Everyone has talents and interests, whether they are considered unique or not. Even though my grades were pretty descent, I am a talented individual and I enjoy doing anything physical such as sports or martial arts, and also learning about law enforcement. This relates to the ESLR “Accomplished Learners challenge themselves continually” because my goal in life is to be a part of law enforcement, so learning codes and the laws will help in future reference. Also being in shape will help me with the physical part of law enforcement.
What has been the most rewarding part of high school?
* The most rewarding part of high school in my opinion is the opportunity to take classes that interest you and the opportunity to expand your knowledge as a student. This relates to the ESLR “Accomplished Learners challenge themselves continually” because in high school I have taken different classes that seemed interesting and different. For example, I have taken physics which was fun and hard at the same time. Also I took Visual Communications which was something very different for me and I ended up doing really well in that class.
What has been the most challenging part of high school?
* The most challenging part of high school was always trying to be perfect. For example, the projects I had I would have to do it a certain way, on tests I would try to memorize everything such has SAT words in English or in History memorizing states and countries. It would be frustrating because at times I wouldn’t get an A. The most challenging part of high school was pre-calculus. I had two tutors and would study every night and I still didn’t get it. In the end, I did try my best and I did not give up. This relates to the ESLR “Accomplished Learners solve problems and express ideas creatively” because the issues I had, I would figure it out and do my best to make it perfect.
