In the hospitality industry specifically in the hotel room rentals, the competition is fierce with thousands of choices in every corner of the world for overnight lodging, which also includes motels, inns, B&BS, and not to leave them out the campgrounds. But we believe what is missing in the hotel industry is the temporary lodging facilities considered ‘world-class’ resort hotels in the vicinity of military bases throughout the United States and even internationally.
The Eagle Nest Resort will practice environmental and social sustainability. With today’s growing concern and values in ecotourism in the State of Hawaii, the propose hotel will be founded on the belief of corporate social responsibility (CSR) and will utilize advance CSR practices to assure local governmental instrumentalities and residents that the operation will be both socially and environmentally sustainable.
As the trend in current tourism policies continuous to demand CSR practices, the hotel operations will cater to progressive consumers demanding environmental sustainability. The Eagle Nest Resort will have a unique opportunity to capitalize on this trend as the proposed location has strong policies in protecting biodiversity as well as educational opportunities for every visitor.
