As I grow older, I am realizing that I am becoming my own.   I am also figuring out who I am as an individual.   For me it is exciting to find a little something about myself each and every day.   I began to discover what my strong points and what my weak points are. Some of my strengths include being a team player, multi-task, calm at stressful times, and I am self motivated. Some of my weakness includes not being the strongest at math, lack of creativity, and problem solving.   I remember telling myself each year what I want to do with my life.   For me it was difficult to find out who I really was. To this day I am still learning about myself. Luckily I was not alone in this process. If it wasn’t for my family and friends guidance and inspiration, I would have not found who I was.   I eventually found out my own true identity, which was my independence.

Finding out my identity gave me a great start in my life.   I have always loved to do everything on my own.   For example, go shopping, getting gas, driving to work, working alone, and being able to make my own choices.   My Independency gives me the freedom to do what I want without caring what others think.   Me being independent makes me feel happier every day.   I am the person who does not follow the crowd.   I do not wear what other people wear, following other people’s actions and wrong doing, or fall into people gossiping about other people.   I also have another identity.   I identify with Christianity the most, as it is the most important part of my life.   Christianity is not a hundred percent accepted in my family.   It is something we try to keep as a common theme.   I choose that path as a result of my own thought and reflection.   I cannot really be defined, but I do recognize my background.   My identity gives me the power to be me.
