The Office of Homeland Security has contacted me and other microbiologists to develop criteria for what we believe to be the "key" characteristic of bacteria, viruses, and fungi that must be considered when planning for a bioterrorist threat. I was chosen to develop criteria for Anthrax, Chimera Virus and Rice Blast.
I will identify the above characteristic for each microorganism and I will include the structure that I believe could be critical in understanding if an effective method for confronting a bioterrorist attack on a community is to be developed.
To the Office of Homeland Security Biological Warfare Team:
Per your request and my honor in helping you defend our Country against a possible biological warfare attempt, I hereby provide you and your team with my analysis of study with the potential dangers of Anthrax, Chimera Virus and Rice Blast. I’ve found criteria for what I believe to be the "key" characteristics and structures that “could” be critical in understanding if an effective method for confronting a bioterrorist attack on a community is to be developed. It is my hope as you gain extensive knowledge from all of us microbiologist that you share your findings from all diseases with us by form of a symposium of sorts so that we can information share, learn, and take our extensive experiences to a new level.
All of us are the behind the scenes hero’s people don’t think about and all we want is to keep America safe, do our absolute best at educating awareness to those who know very little about the potential strength of each microorganism studied and strengthen our microbiological study. If we can do that, we’ve succeeded, knowledge is shared, and America is kept safer for Homeland Security, but our main goal is to keep our planet safe from terrorism or at least bind them from mass producing chemical, biological or radiological mechanisms.
