As I walked down the steps to the floor and wedged in and out of the packed crowd I finally found my seat. I couldn’t believe how close I was to the stage. Girls are frantic all around me, waiting to see the teen sensation. I couldn’t even handle my excitement. Justin Bieber, in the flesh; who wouldn’t be excited? I gazed at the neatly hung posters and signs placed around the enormous arena. There was a countdown on the screen of the stage as everyone waited as patiently as possible as they began to scream at the top of their lungs as it was getting closer to show time. Just the thought of seeing Justin Bieber in person for the first time in person wasn’t real to me yet, his perfect smile and tanned body. It was almost unbearable, the adrenaline building in my body. I’d been waiting for this day for more than six months!
The lights went out and he opening acts began and already the noise was atrocious. First, Cody Simpson preformed, a teenage heartthrob from Australia. After a few songs and a roaring applause, he exited the stage. Next, was Carly Rae Jepsen, Justin’s first artist that he had ever signed. She is known for her worldwide song known as ‘Call Me Maybe’. The place exploded! The ache in my stomach grew bigger with excitement when the stage went black, as the last song came to an end. I knew only moments later the star of the show would be on stage.

Minutes felt like hours and I thought he was never going to come out. But all of a sudden, bright, beaming lights jumped out from the stage. Screams erupted all over the stadium, piercing my ears violently. A countdown appeared on the massive screen that was mounted behind the stage in large white letters. As it reached 10, 9, 8, the crowd grew louder and louder. Everyone broke out into a chant, “Justin. Justin. Justin!” 3,2,1. I couldn’t bear to hold it in.
