Living in America where Health Insurance is a major concern and issue there seems to be a major debate on Obama Care. Why are so many people confused on how this coverage works? Health Insurance has been around since the beginning of time, providing coverage for people. Many people depend on their health insurance for losses from accidents, medical expenses, or disability. Prescription drug plans are a form of insurance offered through some health insurance plans. The Obama Care which was signed into law on (March 23, 2010), with this significant change to Health Care it has raised concerns with the American people, and it shaped how they made decisions on health care coverage. I do not think The Obama Care is what the American people need right now. Furthermore the fact’s based on research and previous health care laws shows Obama Care will cost The American people money and job losses.
President Obama had the right to change the health care law, because his main focus is providing more Americans with access to affordable health insurance. (The Affordable Care Act.2010) This law was aimed at reforming the American health care system, providing more Americans with access to affordable health insurance, based on recent polls Americans do not agree with these changes. According to Pipes (2010), “The Government will dictate to insurance companies what they must include in their coverage” (p.50) Pipes (2010) also states” By 2019, 23 million people will remain uninsured”(p.50), Pipe’s (2010) study found the following: Obama Care won’t reduce cost at all, In fact it will drive the country health care bill higher.(p.50)
