Last Will and Testament

Finally, I am almost out of high school! College is fast approaching and I am nothing but excited about the thought of it. New people, new environment, everything is new and it makes me feel so nervous and happy. I don’t know why but college seems cool to me. I mean, freedom is there. Or so I thought…
But even if I am excited about getting out of high school, I am also scared. Scared of what will happen there, scared of how will I start, scared if I will survive or not. Is college life something like high school? Where friends really exist, where we go to school and go home together, where we have the same subjects and schedules, where we have all the time to be together, and where fun is mostly the main thought of going to school every day. Is college like that?

One day when I was alone at home, I tried to watch Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows part 2, but I couldn’t find anything that is clear from any movie websites I know. I was frustrated until I went to YouTube and searched for it. There I saw an interview of the director of the said movie, David Yates. I never thought that a certain interview can make my eyes well up into tears. Just by listening to his words and my body shivered. He said: “We always knew we were coming back, and this time we knew we weren't.” I don’t always cry but when I let his statement sink down, I knew right at that moment, my eyes turned into Niagara Falls.
I feel so selfish for being excited about being able to leave this school and I apologize. I didn’t know that whenever I receive that diploma, I could never come back here as a student, but an alumnus. After watching David Yate’s interview, a thought crept into my mind. “Could I just stay here, a high school student, forever?”
We can now see the finish line and we are nearing it day by day. You, the juniors will stay, and we, the seniors batch 2013-2014 of San Benildo Integrated School, will leave. Our batch, as we love to call it SAPOPOH, has...
