If I could hop in a time machine and go back to the past, I do it in a heartbeat.   There are two people that come to mind that I would like to meet, but I know I would pick one over the other.   If I had a limited amount of time with her I would know what I would ask her.   I would have loved to have been able to go to the 1976 Olympic Games and been able to have seen it myself.   History was made that year by one special girl.   She was the first person to ever be scored perfect on an event.   I could just imagine how the atmosphere was.   I know from personal experience that practices aren’t easy.   It’s like going to school eight hours a day, but unlike learning different subjects, except you only learn one here.   You walk into the gym and nothing else can be on your mind.   Only you can get yourself to do it.   The coaches are only there for your benefit.  
Nadia Comaneci was born and raised in Onesti, Romania.   She started her career at the age of six and became a phenomenal gymnast.   Nadia worked her way up to the Olympics.   She earned her spot on that team.   By her records, there’s no way why any coach wouldn’t want her.   In her very first championship she scored three firsts, one second, and first in all-around.   All-around means how she did overall.   Four years later she was the first girl ever from Romania to get to go to the Olympics in 1976 and compete.   Not only was she the first at that, she was the first girl to be scored a perfect 10.0 on uneven-bars in history. She did it at the 1976 Games, and then went on to score six more 10.0s and win three gold medals.   Nadia was also the first Romanian gymnast to win the all-around title at the Olympics, and is the youngest ever all-around champion.
