Health and safety mechanisms in an organization are concerned with protecting the safety, health and welfare of people engaged in work or employment. The goals are to foster a safe and healthy work environment.
In this project we will look at the health and safety mechanisms of the Exams World and the measures it has in place to protect the welfare of its employees and its customers, both now and in the future.
SYNOPSIS OF THE EXAMS WORLD
Exams World is a private organization that provides examinations services in Jamaica. It is in the enviable position of being the only organization that has been mandated by the Government of Jamaica to administer external examinations. That monopoly, coupled with the fact that Jamaicans are always striving to improve their qualifications, guarantees the Exams World continued strong business and an opportunity to make a difference in national and regional development.
They provide examination services for Caribbean Examinations Council (CXC), Cambridge International examinations (GCE), Proctor International exams for universities such as, University of London, University of Cambridge, Herriot Watt University and a wide range of other international agencies.
