I am writing to complain about the service we have been receiving over a period of time. We have been having many issues concerning the signal going into our Virgin Media box, and have had to have many engineers, over the past 6 years that we have lived in Kent, to come and see to this problem, which until recently has not been properly sorted out.
Over the 6 years, and with the many problems we have been receiving, a technician told us that the outside cables leading to the house would need to be pulled to resolve the overall problem. Yet over the many years of having engineers coming out to see to this problem we were always told it was the box that needed to be changed or the signal that needed to be tweaked. Yet after working for a while, up to about a week, the problem would restart again.
Finally when we got the TiVo box we thought the problem would be resolved as we were paying for the highest and best service you offer. Yet after only a few days the problems with poor signal started again, blocked pictures, freezing and shadowing on ALL CHANNELS. This lead to us once again having to have a number of engineers come out to see to this problem, yet none of them seemed to be bothered to check the outside signal cable and only wanted to do a quick fix.
After once again contacting customer care we were put through to a technician that told us a manager would be sent out to see to this problem and finally it would be resolved, yet another engineer was sent in his place and he told us the manager would not see us as he did not do call out between 4-7pm, the time slot that we had been told he could come and see to the problem at. Once again the engineer told us that nothing was wrong with the equipment, yet once again he never checked the outside cable signal.
