This report will discuss in length the procedure undergone in conducting interviews to job applicants based on the situation given to the reporter. The latter is tasked to take the role of a recruitment agent who is in charge ofinitiating a job interview for a sales manager position. The reporter is asked to make a report on how this recruitment process is going to commence and how thetasked reporter is going to select a suitable person for the position mentioned beforehand. Thispaper consists of four parts of evaluation which are the following: the process of selection; list of the skills required as a good interviewer; list of interview questions to ask the interviewees; types of test to be used on the interviewees.

2.1 The process of selection (P.E.O.P.L.E-Oriented process)
Selection is the process of identifying the candidates’ capabilities, skills, cognitions, and other matters that may help a company in attaining its object. Hence, this process takes several steps in order to derive successful outcome.
David A. Whetten and Kim S. Cameron (2011: 653) have suggested P.E.O.P.L.E-Oriented selection process.
The interviewer has to learn about the applicants from resume, application letter, transcript, and any other papers given prior to the interviewandsets screening criteria and prepares questions for the selection.
The screening criteria for a sales manager position may be the following: four year college degree (Bachelor’s Degree) or masters in business administration (Graduate Degree); minimum of five yearsexperience in the sales manager position; computer literate.
2) Establish Rapport
