Every age has its own causes of terrorism whether because of the absence of freedom or social injustice. Terrorism is the systematic use of terror, often violent as a means of forcing another party to act in an involuntary manner by use of threats or intimidation or some other forms of pressure or force. American experts define terrorism as 'the use of international violence by individuals or groups to achieve political goals". this issue needs an elaborate analysis.
An inevitable consequence of terrorism is the massacre of innocents. Who can ignore the fact that terrorism has led to deaths of innocent people who have nothing to do with the conflicts? They might even be unaware that they are the to -be victims of terrorists. Innocents are being killed b these ruthless people so that they are feared and their demands accepted. It is not a secret to anybody that whenever there is   bloodshed, it is lives of innocents, defenseless people that are in peril. It is not hidden that the Iraq war has caused more than 100 000 deaths. The 9/11 attacks resulted in 2996 deaths, including 19 hijackers and 2977 victims. Viewed from this perspective, one has to be heartless to accept terrorism.
Terrorism not only affects lives of people of people but also state of the economy. I f a country is famous for its terrorist attacks against it and even if it is a country which is greatly involved in conflicts, it is quite obvious that tourists would never choose such a destination as a holiday resort as they would not want to endanger their lives. Hence the country's foreign currency earnings diminish which undoubtedly worsens the balance of payments. Economic growth as a result is also restricted as development of the country cannot take place. This is one of the reasons why standard of living of these countries is always low. For instance, tourists wanting to go to Iraq, Palestine or Afghanistan as a holiday resort are practically non existent. With present terrorism, the economy...
