Ford Motor Company’s Manager of Foreign Exchange and Derivatives Trading is
Erin Rohde. Erin Rohde is a Graduate of the University of Michigan-Stephen M. Ross School of Business.
Erin is a Seasoned Treasury professional with extensive capital markets experience. Her expertise is in managing both internal and external relationships through challenging economic environments. Erin Rohde’s; specialties include asset management, international banking/investment, corporate/capital markets, internal consulting, banking relations, trading and treasury operations, cash management, borrowing/financing strategies, financial statement analysis, credit analysis help Ford grow globally.
Ford’s success abroad in managing its Foreign Exchange, is that it has it’s own trading floor at it’s Headquarters is Michigan and can easily monitor all of Ford’s activities in one location in respect to currency and fiscal management.
Ford continues to make moves to strengthen their balance sheet by market timing and currency monitoring.
Mark Oline, managing director of Fitch Ratings. “Ford will have better access to capital markets when the economy recovers and is already going a long way to address its debt load even under today's adverse conditions”.
"They've tapped the market opportunistically," Oline said, pointing to a recent deal where Ford issued 345 million in new shares just as its stock hit levels not seen this year. "Ford is better positioned to return to positive cash flow quicker."
