Water is the most important substance for humans, our life is impossible without this element. The human body can’t live more than 3 days deprived of water. Not only is essential for the body, the modern world industry used water in many ways, such as: electricity generation, industrial process, food industries, etc. The process of making almost everything from plastic to steel needs water.
Here in the US, we open the tap and use clean water, which is something that we see as normal as uses electricity. During the day we don’t stop using it, we wash our hands, drink water, take a bath, etc. Always is near of us, and always is available. This is not something new; we are doing that since the early 1900s, when the big cities start establishing water systems. Americans stop worry about of where fresh water came from or how much of it they were using. Is we think about it the system that put clean water in ours house is designed for be away of the sight of the public. People don’t see how this system is working, so they don’t know were the water come from, or were the water go after we used. For that reason people used the water for clean his cars, wash their dogs, or clean the floor without second though. Also the water bills are normally haft of the cost of what we paid on TV bills or phones bills.
According to the United States Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) the average family of four uses 400 gallons of water every day.
This is something that we take for granted, but it is not the same around the word.
